Hi Reader,
The last couple weeks (you know what, months actually..) we have been doing so much traveling, and I haven't been home for month than, like 10 days straight. For someone who literally prides themselves on being a homebody, this is SO out of my normal routine.
I was having a conversation with one of my Soulcial Suite members this morning (hi, Ana!) about what content creation can (and maybe should) look like when you're out of your normal physical space.
While it's easy for me to give tips about prepping content your trips so that it's easy to just "press publish," in truth, sometimes I literally just don't post.
Part of me feels guilty because I'm "neglecting" my business.
But part of me also tries to remember that no one is paying closer attention to my posting schedule than I am, and realistically, most people probably won't even notice.
Truthfully, I think part of me is just busy focusing on so many other things that it's been hard to even sit down and get the inspiration about what I even want to say.
It's easy for me (and maybe you feel this too) to feel like I'm on a constant wheel of saying the same things, so it's hard to feel inspired on how to add new twists to the same messages that I want to get out to my audience (or to present them in a new light).
So, I'm not saying this is the "right" or "only" way to get inspired, but it's how I am doing it right now.
- THREADS!! Oh my goodness, it is a gold mine for getting "unpopular opinions" that you can share your insight on. I've even screenshotted some things and done green-screen videos about them.
- The news in my industry: What better way to become an authority in your niche than to give your audience your take on the things that are happening in your world?
- The Explore page: Yeah, sometimes I pop on there and look at content for my own entertainment, but this week, I'm making more of an effort to actually ANALYZE posts and see what's performing well in my niche, then share my own spin on that.
I'm just a girl trying to compete with the short life cycle of content and stay relevant on Instagram, yaknow? 🫠
